If you are already familiar with the french lace cap and have no problems with the durability you can try to switch to the swiss lace cap but for beginners we don¡¯t recommend it.

The most important question is that will you want to wear your wig in an up do or ponytail? If so you will want to choose a full lace cap style or a lace front cap style. There are many different style caps, the most common is the full lace cap with ear to ear stretch, the full lace cap with no stretch, front lace only cap meaning lace in the front only, full lace cap with thin skin in front and lace around entire perimeter of head.

Repeatedly placing glue and tape intentionally on your hair line will cause eventual damage. How long am i allowed to keep my wig on? That will depend on the strength of the adhesive you choose, and your personal comfort. Most ultra maintain adhesives and safe grip adhesives have maximum maintain time of 6 weeks.

Yes, they can. However it depends on the tightness of the curl. For really tight curls, we suggest you don't flat iron it.

Density is defined as how thick or thin you want your hair to be. The standard and most popular choice is 120% which is medium thick density. The aveage human head is considered 100% density so 120% is thicker.

Bleached knot is a technique where we bleach out the knot that is made when each strand of hair is hand-tied into the lace on the base of the cap. It bleaches the knot out, making it just a little lighter so that it does not stand out as much. It offers that it a much more natural appearance as though the hairs are growing out of the scalp. This is recommended when you choose a dark hair color. Also be aware that even though you can achieve a more natural look with bleached knots, the bleach does weaken the knot which means you may experience shedding faster than in the other areas. However our wigs are expertly hand made and with proper care could be last for a long time.

Yes. But you need to braid your hair in small flat cornrows either in a beehive or straight back. Or you can wrap your hair flat back. Then use a wig cap to keep your natural hair in place.

You can wear your lace wig when swimming. But we don¡¯t advise that. Beacuse, your hair may be damaged by chlorine and salt water and these damages cannot be repaired. So, it is suggested not to make your expensive lace wig touched with chlorine or salt water. If you want to do this, you should ensure that your wig will be washed and deep conditioned once after your swimming.

We would not recommend any further dyeing of the product, because that the hair has already been dyed and processed. However if you purchase a virgin unit, you can have fun dying it to any shade you want.

Yes, remy hair can be styled just like regular hair. You can arrange it, dry it, hot curl it, etc. It is 100% human real hair.

1. Fill your clean sink with luke warm water (make sure there is absolutely no bleach or other harsh cleaning chemical residue in the sink)

2. Add a capful or less of gentle shampoo and dilute in the water. Never use regular shampoo on your wigs! If the wig has picked up the odor of smoke or other strong odors, you may add a teaspoon of baking soda to your basin, and blend in.

3. Gently swish the wig or piece in the water for about 30 seconds to a minute until the wig is saturated. Gently rub the front of the wig cap, where it meets the forehead until clean. And remember very gently!

4. Leave the wig soaks in the wig sinks for about 5 minutes

5. Empty the wig basin of water and rinse the wig or piece in cool water. It is very important to use cool water on curly wigs, as warm water will over-relax the curls of wigs.

6. Gently squeeze excess water out of wig. Do not rub or twist your wig.

7. Spread the wig out on a synthetic wig stand and leave in a ventilated area to dry overnight. You should spray on a little leave-on wig conditioner, when you start the drying process. It is not recommended to blow dry your wig. Do not brush or style your wig while it is wet.

8. When the wig is totally dry, re-style the wig gently. We recommend a wig choose or wide tooth comb. Bristle brushes, and roll brushes are not recommended.

If it is silky straight, our reply is "Yes". But after drying it, the silky straight style will be back. The Yaki Perm Straight and Light Yaki textures do not wave up when wet.

There are many different types of hair extension, including:

1. Weaving - a process in which you create tracks on the individuals head and sew the hair extensions on. This method is the most widely used in adding hair extensions.

2. Fusion - a process in which the extended hair is attached directly to your own hair by a heated glue stick. In this method, an acrylic glue stick is placed inside a glue gun that heats and melts the glue. The hair extension and the glue are then attached directly onto the individual's hair.

3. Clip in ¨C a process in which extended hair is to attach them, separate your hair, starting at the neck's nape, working your way upward. The number of clips used depends on the volume needed. Open the clips, facing them to the scalp. Then simply snap them into place.

Hair extensions can be synthetic, real human hair or a combination of both. The better quality hairs are human hair that comes from Asia and virgin hair.

If you want a 1-6 week hold, you can buy the ultra hold glue or the safe grip wig glue. For a 1-10 day hold, the mity tite is best choice. Some prefer the ease of rolling on tape adhesive. Or use glue in the front hair line and tape in the back.

The hair length should be measured from the head top to the hair bottom when the hair is straight. The curl and wavy wigs developed from straight wigs, so for the same length, a curl or wavy wig will be shorter by 1"-2" than a straight wig. *It varies depending on how deep the curl is.

*How to Measure

1. Circumference of the head:

This is the only measurement needed when ordering a stock wig. Measure around the hairline of the entire head. Position the tape measure so its edge follows the hairline around the head and nape of the neck. (Average measurement is 22" to 22 1/2 inches).

2. Front to nape:

Measure 1/4 inch beyond the front hairline and go over the top of the head to 1/4 inch past the hairline at the nape of the neck. This measurement provides a comfortable front to back fit. (Average measurement is 14 to 15.5 inches)

3. Ear-to-ear across forehead:

Measure from the front of the ear at hairline at the base of sideburn, up across the hair line along forehead to same point in front of opposite ear. (Average measurement is 11 1/2 to 12 inches).

4. Ear-to-ear over the top of head:

Measure from hairline directly above the ear across top of head to the hairline directly above the other ear. (Average measurement is 11 1/2 to 12 inches ).

5. Temple to temple:

From temple to temple across the back of head. (Average measurement is 14 to 15 inches).

6. Nape of neck:

Measure the width of hairline across the nape of the neck. (Average measurement is 5 to 6 inches).
